తోచీ తోచనమ్మ…?
1. ఈమెగారు ఏ హోదాలో ఆడకెళ్ళింది ? వాళ్ళు ఏ హోదాలో ఆడ మాట్లాడనిస్తున్నారు ? మనకి తెలిసినంతవరకు ఈమెగారు కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ అధ్యక్షురాలూ UPA కమిటీకి ఛెయిర్ పర్సనూ. అంతకన్నా మరింకేమీ కాదు.ఇలాగే ఫార్వర్డు బ్లాకు ముస్లిం లీగు మొదలైన అన్ని పార్టీల అధ్యక్షుల్నీ అమెరికా పీటేసి కూర్చోబెట్టి UNO లో మాట్లాడనిస్తుందా ?
2. ఇదివరలో అనాధికారిక వ్యక్తుల్ని ఇలా UN వేదిక ఎక్కనిచ్చిన దృష్టాంతాలేమీ లేవు. మన దేశం తరఫున నెహ్రూ మాట్లాడాడు. వాజపేయి మాట్లాడాడు.సరే ! వాళ్ళకా సమయంలో ఏదో ఒక పెద్ద ఆధికారిక హోదా ముద్రాధికారమూ ఏడిశాయి. ఆ ప్రకారంగా చూస్తే ఇప్పుడు మాట్లాడాల్సింది సోనియా కాదు, మన్ మోహన్ సింగు. కాని ఇలా జరుగుతోందేమిటి చెప్మా ? ఈ చర్యకి ఉన్న రాజ్యాంగబద్ధత ఏమిటి ? ఒక ప్రైవేటు వ్యక్తిగా ఈమెగారు అక్కడ పిచ్చికూతలు కూస్తే ఇక్కడ ప్రభుత్వం వాటికి కట్టుబడి ఉండాలా ?
3. కాదు-కూడదు-సోనియా స్పెషలు-అందుకని మాట్లాడనిస్తున్నాం అంటే ఆ స్పెషల్ కి అర్థమేంటో మనం తెలుసుకోవచ్చా ? మనకి తెలిసినంతవరకు రాజీవ్ గాంధి పెళ్ళాం కావడం మినహాయిస్తే ఇండియాలోనే ఈమెగారికి ఏ విధమైన స్పెషాలిటీ లేదు. మరి అంతర్జాతీయ వేదికల మీద ఇంత స్పెషల్ ఎలా అయిపోయిందబ్బా హఠాత్తుగా ? మన దగ్గర ప్రతిభా పాటిల్ కి ఎంత విలువుందో అంతర్జాతీయ వేదికల మీద సోనియాకీ అంతే విలువుంది.
4. ఈ స్పెషల్ కి అర్థమేంటో ఎవరూ చెప్పనప్పుడు కరెక్టుగా అదేంటో ఊహించే అధికారమూ అవకాసమూ మనకుంటాయి కదా !అలా ఊహించాలంటే ఈమధ్య జరిగిన సంఘటనల పరంపరంతా ఓసారి నెమరేసుకోవాల.
అవి :- (అ) అమెరికాతో అణు వొప్పందం కోసం సోనియాగాంధి అదేదో తన సొంత పెళ్ళిలాగా తహతహలాడిపోవడం. అందుకోసం దేశప్రయోజనాల్నే పణంగా పెట్టడానికీ ; బ్రిటిష్ ఇండియాలో కారన్ వాలిస్సూ రాబర్ట్ క్లైవూ మన రాజుల్ని చేసినట్టు ఇండియాని నిరాయుధం చెయ్యడానికి అమెరికాతో కలిసి కుట్రపన్నడం
(ఆ) అందుకోసం తమ ప్రస్తుత భాగస్తులైన పుర్రచేతిగాళ్ళ (CPI, CPM) తో విరోధానికీ తద్వారా తమ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని తామే కూల్చేసుకోవడానికీ తిరిగి ఎన్నికలు జరిపించడానిక్కూడా ధీమాగా సిద్ధపడడం.
(ఇ) ఇక్కడి భూముల్ని SEZ ల పేరుతో మన రైతుల నుంచి బలవంతంగా లాక్కుని విదేశీ కంపెనీలకి కట్టబెట్టడం.
(ఈ) దేశవ్యాప్తంగా మతం మార్పిడీ కార్యక్రమాలు ఎన్నడూ లేనంతగా ఊపందుకోవడం. కాంగ్రెస్ అధికారంలోకొచ్చినప్పటినుంచి హిందూమతాన్ని దెబ్బతీసే చర్యలే తప్ప మరొకటి చెయ్యడంలేదు. మన రాష్ట్రమే తీసుకుంటే ఒక్క ఏడాదిలోనే మైనారిటీ మందిరాలు మెజారిటీ మందిరాలుగా మారినై. జిల్లాల వారీగా కింద ఇచ్చిన మందిరాల స్టాట్స్ పరిశీలించండి : మొదటి సంఖ్యలు హిందూ దేవాలయాలవి. రెండో సంఖ్యలు చర్చిలవి. మూడో సంఖ్యలు మసీదులవి.

ఇవన్నీ చూస్తా ఉంటే ఈమె ఎవురికోసం పనిచేస్తా ఉంది ? ఎవురికి అంకితమయింది ? అనే సందేహాలు కలగడం సహజం. కాని ఈ సందేహాలకు సంతృప్తికరమైన సమాధానాలు ఇంతవరకు లభించలేదు. దొరుకుతున్న సాక్ష్యాలూ అందుతున్న సంకేతాలూ అన్నీ పూర్తి విరుద్ధంగా ఉన్నాయి. లేకపోతే నేనీమెని గట్టిగా సపోర్టు చేస్తూ ఒక టపా రాసుండేవాణ్ణి. ఈమె కోసం ఎంతమందినైనా సరే, ఎదుర్కుని ఉండేవాణ్ణి.
ఈమెని కేంబ్రిడ్జిలోని ఒక గ్రీకు రెస్టారెంటులో రాజీవ్ గాంధికి పరిచయం చేసింది అమెరికన్లు. ఎన్నికలు రాబోతున్న వేళ ఈమెని ఇలా కృత్రిమంగా పట్టుకుని ఆకాశానికెత్తి పెద్దదానిగా ప్రొజెక్ట్ చేసి భారతీయుల చేతనే ఆమెని అయ్యారే ! భళారే ! అనిపించి గెలిపించి తన స్వార్థ ప్రయోజనాలు నెరవేర్చుకోవాలనే వ్యూహంతో అమెరికా పన్నిన పాచిక ఇది అని స్పష్టంగా తెలిసిపోతానే ఉంది.

చాలా బాగా రాసారు. తిరుమలలో గుడి చుట్టూ ఉన్న నాలుగు వీదులలో పెట్టాలనుకొన్న శిలువ స్తం భాలు , కొత్త రెండు రూపాయల కాయిన్ మీద శిలువ గుర్తు కూడ మీ టపా లో చే ర్చాల్సింది.

There’s no mention of her addressing any UN bodies in any “official” capacity.
I could not find any such meeting mentioned in UN news pages either.
Moreover, though US is a powerful member of the UN Security Council, UN has its own way of doing things .. US can not control who can or can not speak at the UN.
Your other complaints about Sonia’s proxy rule in India have some merit, though.

Kottapali gaaroo, such rules are just paper-perfect. The stark reality is you can’t even stand at the gate of the UN without the US backing. US has a strangle hold on each and every minor movement of the UN by virtue of contributing more than 20 per cent of its budget.

Sonia did address a General Assembly plenary meeting at UN (on the first observance of the International Day of Non-Violence) and preached Gandhigiri to this well attended gathering. See any newspapers other than “The Hindu” for the coverage of her speech.

If US had it’s way with UN why would it withheld it’s payments to UN to the tune of 1.26 billion Dollars as a kind of arm-twisting for UN reforms??
Yeah ! it will certainly work and show the UN its proper place as designated by the US. The UN has no other go. It must and should bend. US knows best where it hurts. What could the UN do when US attacked Iraq ? It intervened in everything that has little or no involvement of the US. But it washed its hands off everything that directly involved the US.
